Regular Event

1.  Pack/ Troop / Crue meeting : At unit level it’s a regular and fundamental activity. Almost at every weekend Cub Scout /Scout &  Rover Scout gather at an open place . By flag hoisting Cub Scout /Scout &  Rover Scout do their activities according to the own stage sylabus for 60-90 minutes.

2.  Patrol Leader/ Met Course : It’s a leadership training course for patrol leader/Rover Met. Highest four patrol leader/Rover Met can participate from each unit in a patrol leader/Rover Met Course. This course is very helpful to generate and upgrade the leadership quality of patrol leader/Rover Met according to Scout / Rover program.

3.  Proficiency Badge Course : Cub scout , Scout & Rover Scout section has separate proficiency badges course  held on according to their own section’s badges. This course is helpful to generate skill of Cub Scout, Scout and Rover Scout. By completing the proficiency badge Syllabus in that courses Cub Scout and Rover Scout can earn proficiency badge as well as efficiency badges. Its a stair to earn the highest award of each level.

4.  Regional/District/ Upazilla Cub Camporee/ Scout gathering : Its a gathering of cub/scout at District or Upazilla level. It is organized  every year. It depends on ability of District or Upazilla Scouts organization.

5.  District / regional Rover Moot : It’s a gathering of Rover Scouts at Regional/ District level. It’s held every year at district level. After two/three years by rotation it’s held  at Regional level.

6.  Baden Powell’s birth anniversary : The birth anniversary of the founder of the scout Movement Robert Stephenson Smith Lord Baden Powell of Gilwell is celebrated each year on 22nd February. At all level of scout organization ( such as unit, Upazilla, District, Region and National level) observe this day with  dignity making rally/processions, day long camp, blood donation & Grouping, Art Competition hiking ect. attractive and interesting activities.

7. Talent search : It’s an especial programme for cub scouts. It is a competition among the cubs about poem reciting, Essay writing, Art & crafts, Addressing/ speech delivering, Dance, Song etc. It’s helpful to dig out dorment merit of cubs.

8. International /National day Observation :
It’s a regular activity at National / Regional / Upazilla Scout organizations level. Cub/Scout/ Rover observes the various International & National day together or individually by procession/Rally or join in to the discussing meetings. Especially Bangladesh Scouts gives priority following the nine International days  :- a) International Mother Language Day (b) World Health Day (c) World Environment Day (d) Child Labor Prevention Day (e) International Youth Day (f) International Literacy Day (g) International Day of Peace (h) World AIDS Day (i) International Day of Disabled Persons.

9.  Cub Holiday : It’s only for Cub Scouts. It is held at District/Upazilla level. Cub scouts observe this day long program including attractive, educative and interesting activities.

10.Youth Forum : It’s only for scouts & Rover Scouts. In this forum Scouts / Rover Scouts deliver their own views with legal cause on a given topic.

11. Award preparatory Camp : It’s a rare event but now a days it is becoming a regular program at district / upazilla level. Its a preparatory camp for applicant of the highest award( Sapla/ PS/PRS award).

Regular events/Activities(programs) at National Level :

All kinds of gathering are of Cub Scout/Scout & Rover Scout help making friendship among them. This gathering teaches them to make themselves patriotic citizens. It is a large show of their presentation of skill. It’s a stage of digging out  merit of them. In the cub section this gathering a called ” Camporee” in the Scout section this gathering at national level called “Jamboree” and in the Rover Scout sections this gathering called ” Rover Moot”.

1. National Cub Camporee : It’s a huge gathering for cub scouts (6+ to 11 age level)  held regularly after four years. In the meantime six national cub camporees had been organized as follows :

2.  National Scout Rally & Jamboree : It’s a huge gathering for scouts ( 11+ to 17 age level ) held regularly after four years. In the meantime three rally and seven national scout jamborees had been organized as follows :

3.   National Rover Moot : It’s a huge gathering for Rover Scouts ( 17+ to 25 age level). held regularly after four years. In the meantime eight rover moots had been organised as follows :

4.  National Srijonee(Creative) Camp : It’s an especial camp for scouts & rover scouts. It’s as like as talent hunting program. Scouts & Rover Scouts can display their creativity as an individual in this camp. Bangladesh Scouts has been organizing national srijonee(creative) camps since 2004. It is held every year. In the meantime four Srijonee(creative) camps had been organized as follows :

5. Examination /written of Sapla/PS Award Applicants: Nation wide Sapla/PS award Applicants written examination is generally held on Augus/ September in every year. Exam venue usually selected at District Headquarters.

6. PS/PRS Camp : PS/PRS award applicants camp is generally held on September/October every year. Written, practical, Skill test, viva voce and psychology test are included in this exam.

7. Sapla/PS/PRS Award giving Ceremony : There will be a award giving ceremony after the finalization of Sapla/PS/PRS award earners. His excellency Honorable President and the Chief Scout of Bangladesh gives the PS/PRS award in a ceremony. Award Certificate is also signed by the Honorable President of Bangladesh. Honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh Government gives Sapla award in a Ceremony. Sapla award Certificate is also signed by the honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh. It’s a great opportunity for every cub scout, scout & rover scout in her /his life.
